Churnet Valley Woodland Wildlife Surveyor
Our Churnet Valley Living Landscape Partnership colleagues at RSPB are looking for a Woodland Wildlife Surveyor to carry out surveys along the line of the Caldon Canal in the next couple of months. The main task is to undertake a playback surveys for willow tits. This involves playing a willow tit call for two minutes every 100m and then waiting for a further two minutes to see if there is any response.
RSPB are keen to use volunteers who have not been involved before and have invited CUCT to become involved. If you would like to know more there are details on the RSPB website.
